Purpose of processing personal data

The register contains personal data obtained through contact forms on Battery Recycling Innovation Park website. The data is used for statistics and reporting, project communication and marketing and for completing given assignments.

Only those employees of the town of Ylivieska Business Services who based on their duties have a need to process the information contained in the register are entitled to use the systems containing personal data. Each user has their own username and password. The information is stored in databases that are protected by firewalls, passwords and other technical means. We assess the need for data retention, taking into account applicable law.

The right of access and verification of data

Everyone has, as a general rule, the right to inspect their personal data in the Battery Recycling Innovation Park form register. The request for verification is submitted upon a personal visit with a handwritten or otherwise certified document. The personal data of the applicant will be verified at the submission of the form and of the data. 

If the data register contact person does not accept the request made by the data subject, a written certificate must be issued. The reasons for which the request is not accepted must be stated in the certificate.

If the data register contact person does not accept the demand made by the data subject, a written certificate must be issued. The reasons for which the demand is not accepted must be stated in the certificate. The data subject has the right to submit the case to the Data Protection Ombudsman.
